Introducing Scott Henderson, Illustrator for 7 Generations

I’m very excited to have Scott on board with the project. I met with him at Starbucks recently (before watching Tiger lose the PGA…sigh), and we really just clicked in terms of what we envisioned and how we worked. Plus, he really likes Pearl Jam. So that helped too.   ;o)

I’m going to attach some of his work and a bio. Enjoy!

Bio:

Scott Henderson

Since childhood, Scott Henderson has had a love of drawing for stories.  This passion for illustration has remained strong and was reinforced by the formidable teaching skills of his high school art teacher, which led him to enroll in the School of Fine Arts at the University of Manitoba.  At the UofM he found more inspirational teachers that helped develop his style, tehcnique and creativity.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, completing a graphic novel of his own design for his final thesis project.

His time after university has been spent working on many aspects of comics and illustration: working as a colourist for comics, illustrations for other writers, portraits, movies, story boards, advertising, custom framing and most recently two WWII web comics.  In between it all he works on his own sci-fi/fantasy comic, “The Books of Era,” an epic series that will take some time bring to light.
